She hated the rice cereal and when we went on leave a few people told us to try bananas. So when we got back to Kansas we went to the store and bought some. Not to our surprise Evelyn wasnt a fan at first, but we knew it was new to her so we kept trying. She caught onto opening her mouth for the spoon and started to slowly swallow.
Now shes almost a champ at it! She moans and groans and kicks when she wants more, its so adorable!
The only thing she cant stand to eat is Squash. I cant blame her too much on that one! But shes done very well and seems to love carrots and any of the fruits we give her. Baby girl is growing up SO fast!

My niece was very weird. She would only eat the cereal if it had the bananas mixed into it and then you warmed it up. Yay for Evelyn.
Charlotte loved baby food when she was on it. I was amazed I couldn't ever get her to chunk up. I was on WIC then so I got lots of jars of food. I'd mix a meat with a veggie and mix fruit with the different types of cereals (rice or wheat... I forget what other ones they make). Sometimes she'd down like 5 jars of stuff in one sitting! It was crazy! And the girl still stayed in like the 10-15 percentile for her weight. I was jealous :) It's such a nice stage because they get fuller and usually will sleep pretty dang good. I'm sure I'll look forward to those days in the next few months! :)
