Lets Get Curvy! PT.2

Dont forget! Today is the last day to Ask Me Anything.

Since I last wrote about getting curvy, I have lost 15 lbs! Yepp, just by changing my eating habits. I have to admit it was a piece of cake, but for me to give up chocolate when I am such a sucker for Cadbury Eggs...I have to admit though I had maybe 5 eggs.

The Hubs and I have been walking a lot more often. His goal is to loose 15 lbs by the end of this month, and I'm just hoping to keep losing weight.

The Hubs starts work again on Monday and it will be all up to me to keep up with my success. I am pretty hopeful since the pool is opening next month I'll have plenty to walk to :)

Are any of you trying to lose weight? What are you doing?

I'm not actively trying to lose weight but I gave up gluten for lent which meant no bread or pasta and it has made such a difference in how my body looks! I know though...giving those things up is SO HARD and after today I will reincorporate them into my diet but not have them be such big staples as they were. I think my plan is to have 1 or 2 designated pasta/bread days a week so I don't end up binging on them since I won't have Lent as motivation.
You are so inspirational and motivational! Can't wait to see the next let's get curvy post :)

That's great about the 15lbs. Holy moly!

I am very active for being almost 30 and a steady weight of 103lbs, although I'm very strict on myself. The past year [during the deployment] I cut out sodas, sugars, white rice/bread, grilled meats only and started my days off with green smoothies.

I'm active in yoga and cardio [interval running 3 miles minimum daily]. I eat only whole wheat products, no sugars, no salts, water only with a glass of juice [no sugar] daily. Green smoothies get me going in the morning. 6 days a week I'll eat grilled chicken and one day I'll eat steak. Fresh veggies and sometimes I juice my own veggies/fruits.

Yay you!! That's awesome!

I've been working on getting back to curvy also… I started by purchasing a juicer. I had to leave that in California though, especially since all the fruit and veggies made Drew ORANGE (he seriously looked like an Oompa Loompa). I will definitely go back once he's weaned. I also got a jogging stroller and started running and walking every day. I lost 12 lbs while I was in California.

Needless to stay that has halted now that I'm back living with my meat and potatoes husband, but we're working on it. Would love to talk to you more about your diet.

Keep up the great work! :-)

Congrats on the weight you've lost! Now if only I could be as determined as you...

My husband and I are moving on Memorial Day, so I told him "June 1st, we start doing the Couch to 5K program and doing 30 minutes of other exercise daily!" He doesn't need to lose weight or get in shape (thank you, PT!), but I do. I'm looking to lose 10 lbs by the end of August.

Thanks for the motivation! Keep up the awesome progress!

Good job! I'm losing weight by eating right and working out. I've hit a plateau, but it's a comfortable place, so I'm fine with it right now.

I always want to lose weight, but I am definitely to damn lazy to do anything about it. I love diet coke and crave chocolate way to much.

I am going to start going to the classes on post depending on how much they cost. The AF Base offers a lot more classes than Pope.

I need to find a job, but REALLY want to go to school.

If I do get to go to school again, I am going to try and make it a habit to work out at least a few times a week or at least try to walk my dogs around the neighborhood.
