oh wait...

I don't know how to really describe this blog. I am so excited about being able to get to decorate my first home for Christmas........until, I think. Oh ya....Hubby wont be here. 1st married Christmas! I know I know its happened before, but just way sucks.
We are thinking we are going to be able to afford to get our tree and decorations before he goes, and put them up together, even though we know right after he leaves I might move and not have anything up for Christmas, but thats not a big deal since I will be going home to see some family. Whats important is we try to share all these memories together, even if it have a faux thanksgiving and christmas, we will take it!
As you can see even though I know it sucks, and I know how BAD it sucks. I am trying to see a bigger picture, and what more we can do together. I think what I am doing is important. Even though looking at tree skirts made me cry, I know that its going to be all worth it, and if not...at least we tried right?
Now if I could only think of what to do for our anniversary....?? Any suggestions?

Well it doesn't have to be anything big. I think Scott and I for our 1 yr. took a trip to Reno, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe but it was after school was out for him and just happened to be our anniversary and his bday. Since then we have gone to The Roof to eat because the food is awesome! You can order flowers and reserve a table by the window so you have the amazing view of the temple. That's always been nice when he's done that for me. He actually made me cry the first time he did it. When we got to the table and there were flowers there for me. It was so sweet! So sometimes I think simple things like that stand out even more. Maybe you could recreate your first date or when he proposed... I dunno.... Just as long as you make sure you two are spending time together and just allowing yourselves to have time to talk. It's amazing the things you can still learn about each other when you've already been together so long! Just make sure you have time to share your feelings with each other because those precious words and memories will last longer than any material thing.
